A foundation especially formulated to provide protective facial skin care. It acts as a defensive barrier against the environment, both physically (through the formation of a protective film on the skin) and biologically (thanks to its active ingredients), ensuring a balance of the skin’s microbiome, the group of bacteria that form skin flora and are largely responsible for its hydration, nutrition and strength. It improves skin’s appearance and feel.

Application
Apply it as a daily foundation, preferably in the morning by lightly massaging it onto the face, neck and décolletage until it has been completely absorbed.
Active ingredients
Alpha-glucooligosaccharides: pre and probiotics that improve the skin’s complexion and strengthen its defences (activating “defensins”, proteins that boost skin immunity). They help to maintain skin ecology (ecoflora) and ensure the balance of the skin, boosting its brightness and comfort. They also reduce the symptoms of skin reactivity.
Rhamnose complex (polysaccharides or sugar): a moisturising, filmogenic agent that creates a protective film on the skin, contributing to its smoothness and protection. A “Teflon™”-type coating on the skin that inhibits the adhesion of undesirable bacteria on its surface. Rich in rhamnose, a sugar that is involved in cellular communication, it confers the ability to modulate the skin’s inflammatory response to external aggressors.
Squalene: Oily ingredient that provides flexibility to skin without giving an oily touch. It softens and lubricates the skin, improving its flexibility. It has a nourishing and recovering effect, helping the skin’s natural barrier.
Vitamin F: invigorates and conditions the skin. It is rich in essential polyunsaturated fatty acids from safflower oil, containing a high content of linoleic acid which is a key component of the skin’s natural ceramides. It helps to restore the lipid barrier of the stratum corneum and maintains the skin’s natural structure and functions. It combats dryness and peeling by preventing transepidermal water loss (TEWL). It improves the skin’s smoothness and reduces redness. It provides nutrition and protects against external aggressors.
Vitamin E: an ingredient with anti-free radical and antioxidant action that combats wrinkles and premature skin ageing. It also provides moisturising action and powerful recovery of the skin’s elasticity. Strengthens the skin’s natural defence mechanisms. Contributes to recovery of the skin’s physiological balance.
